Black Diamond Capital Management to Acquire Hines Horticulture Assets

Black Diamond Capital Management, L.L.C., ("Black Diamond"), announced today that the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware entered an order authorizing Hines Nurseries LLC, a newly formed limited liability company owned 100% by entities managed by Black Diamond, to acquire substantially all of the assets of Hines Horticulture, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hines Nurseries, Inc. one of the leading horticulture companies in North America.
