EQT Partners announces that Peter Korsholm from 1st of May will take over the role as office head in the Copenhagen office and become head of EQT Partners Equity business in Denmark. The appointment represents a natural step in the development of EQT Partners Danish franchise and a smooth transition from Ole Andersen who has decided to step down.
Peter Korsholm, who previously worked at Morgan Stanley in London, joined EQT Partners in 1999 and was appointed Partner 2006. He has during his years with EQT Partners taken an active part in developing the Danish operation. Peter holds an MBA from INSEAD and an M.Sc from London School of Economics. Peter Korsholm is currently on the board of BTX Group and ISS. He will also join the board of Gambro BCT and will be EQT responsible for these three investments.
Ole Andersen, who has headed the Danish operation the last five years, will be engaged as Senior Advisor to EQT, and will spend approximately 50% of his time on EQT assignments, including EQT's efforts in Denmark and Eastern Europe. He will also continue to represent EQT on the boards of ISS, Dako and Gambro BCT.
