Wyle to Acquire RS Information Systems

Littlejohn & Co., a private investment firm, today announced that its portfolio company Wyle has completed the acquisition of RS Information Systems (RSIS) of McLean, VA, a premier federal systems integrator providing advanced services in information technology, systems engineering, telecommunications, scientific support and management consulting.

RSIS serves a range of defense, civilian and science and engineering customers, including the U.S. Air Force, NOAA, NASA, FAA and DARPA.

The acquisition of the privately held company increases Wyle's 2008 revenue projection to approximately $800 million and the number of employees to more than 4,200.
