Alternative Investment Research & Technologies (“AIRT”), an affiliate of Starview Capital Management LLC (“Starview”), has partnered with the Center for International Securities and Derivatives Markets (“CISDM”) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst to manage and distribute the CISDM Hedge Fund Database (formerly known as MARHedge database).

The CISDM Hedge Fund Database currently tracks quantitative and qualitative information for over 2600 hedge funds, funds of funds, and CTAs. The database includes a range of descriptive fields such as performance information, assets under management, manager contact, manager’s biographical information and investment methodology.

The CISDM Hedge Fund Database was one of the first hedge fund and CTA data providers. The database provides historical performance information on CTAs (since 1979) and hedge funds (since 1992). It has been the standard in the industry and in academia for hedge fund and CTA performance information and benchmarking. In 2001, it was acquired by Zurich Capital Markets and was subsequently donated to CISDM (Center for International Securities and Derivatives Markets) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
