ATP Private Equity Partners, a leading European fund-of-funds manager specializing in US and European fund investments, today announced the formation of its second investment fund, ATP PEP II. With EUR1bn of committed capital, ATP PEP II will commit to a broad range of well established funds in both continents as well as young and emerging managers.
ATP PEP II is expected to invest in 20-25 buy-out and venture capital funds as well as coinvestments and secondaries.
ATP PEP expects to commit €400-500m in 2005 and 2006. Among the most recent investments in ATP PEP I is the Atlanta based Roark Capital Partners, the Canadian VC, Celtic House III and American Securities of New York.
